Career

Tamara was born on August 20, 1976 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was growing up on a family farm and her dad taught her a lot about construction while she was helping him to fix farm buildings. And she had a lot of fun doing it. So eventually, she and her husband bougt a run-down mansion in 2008 with a goal of completely restoring it.

It went well and they found a great new hobby. While her husband kept his full-time job in Finance, Tamara was very hands-on from the beginning. And what she couldn’t do herself, they hired professionals to finish it. The result was so great, they kept the house. But they decided to repeat this success and hobby turned into business.

Day personally likes the furnishing/shopping/designing part the most. And she can create fabulous interior with help of yard sales and her own two hands. You can watch her mad skills on Bargain Mansion in 2020 as the show continued with second and third season and we bet the number four is just behind the corner.
