David started his lucrative career in investing world as a trader for prestigious Morgan Stanley. After earning good reputation and creating social connections, he became a a portfolio manager at the hedge fund Chelsey Capital.

For there, he moved to Galleon group as a trader again. However, in 2007 he was approached by FBI and after being confronted of proofs of his own insider trading, he agreed to act as an informant and wear the wire.
